taken the precaution of writing a living will saying you refuse to be put
on lifesupport should some accident or tradegy befall you I heard a few storys on this newsgroup of people failing because some

have tried suicide taken the precaution of writing a living will saying
you refuse to be put on lifesupport should some accident or tradegy befall
you. I think doing this would greatly increase the chance of sucess.-A suicide attempt is considered a priori evidence of mental incompetence
in most jurisdictions. As a result, the living will wou... Wisconsin Living Will Just in case anyone is curious, I did some checking on D.N.R. orders in
Wisconsin for personal/family knowledge and here's the deal... at least
in Wisconsin... the DNR order MUST be signed by your doctor. Just
finding a form, tailoring it to your state and signing it along with two
witnesses MAY not be enough, as opposed to a living will, which doesn't
need to be signed by your doctor... just two witnesses who don't have a
"claim" to your estate (in other words you can't leave them ... I have a couple of questions however about the structure of these
ancient Wills I have a couple of questions however about the structure of these
ancient Wills that perhaps someone with better knowledge can answer.
1) Were all Wills written in a common book, together with others, and
retained by a lawyer? Or were copies of Wills, rather like Bishops
Transcripts lodged elsewhere, and maybe this is one of those.
I ask this because the document downloaded contains several Will
written consecutively. It seems that these Wills were not individual
documents, to be re... wills power of attorneys I recently heard that Wills can cause problems: the estate may be
under dispute for a long time or the government may even take part of
it (taxes?).
Is this so? If so, then as an alternative, is it better to leave a
power of attorney instead where person has complete access to the
estate including bank accounts etc.

My questions are as follows:
Is common law marriage recognized in Massachusettes?

power of attorney document. I am single, living in Wisconsin.
Are these documents one should go to an attorney for or are they just
as well done other-wise? If other-wise, how does one accomplish the
deed?- you should see an attorney for them--I've seen too many "other-wise"
documents done incorrectly. The good news is that both a will and a power

info..
Let's say in your will, you leave say, 10 million dollars to your son
and 10 million dollars to your daughter and the balance of your estate
(500 Million) to a charity.
Obviously, your son and daughter ain't gonna be too happy about that.
However, in your will you stipulate that the son and daughter will
only receive the 10 mill *if they do not contest the will*.
Now, my question is.... Is such ... Any advice on how to find a good lawyer? Or does anyone know of a
good estate/will lawyer in the Central NY area? I have an 8 mo old dd and will eventually have another child (maybe
two more). I know how important it is to have a will and am anxious
to get one, but I have no idea how to go about finding a good lawyer.
I'm reluctant to just pick one out of the phone book because I've had
bad experiences with that before. Unfortunately, most of my relatives
and friends don't have wills yet or they did it so long ago their
lawyers are no longer in practice or in the area.

GUNSMOKE lasted on CBS for 20 years (1955-1975)
Do you think that Law and Order will make it to 20 seasons, or do you
think they will fold before then?
I would love to see them make season 21 myself-That would be 7 more seasons after this one. Will never happen.
-I don't see why it won't/can't, barring a severe dropoff in viewers in the next
year or two. Although it is possible to run the other two shows if L&O isn't ... Will this attorney be properly prepared? A person I know has a child custody case pending in a state other than
the one in which she resides. She retained an attorney approximately
nine months ago; local attorneys told her that the data in
Martindale-Hubbell looked good. She has recently received
correspondence from that attorney stating that the case is first on
the docket for the week of March 25, and that the attorney will let
her know whether or not they will go to trial then.
The attorney has not informed my acqu... What Is A Living Will? What Is A Living Will?- living wills are ignored for suicide attempts. The law
assumes that one who attempts suicide is not in their right mind, which then
invalidates the living will which makes it mandatory for medical workers to
attempt to revive you. In cases of non-suicide, living wills are usually
honored. However, it is a good idea to talk about the living will with both
your doctor and your family. If no one knows about the living will, they
won't know to honor it. Also,...
