I have a question. One we're married, how does that affect our credit.
My fiance has a bad credit history, and we're concerned that it may affect
MY chances of getting loans, etc. If I am buying something by myself, and
applying for the loan myself (or with my parents to cosign, but NOT my
husband) will they consider his credit history at all since he will be my

What Is A Credit Report
Every month, I have my electric bill (I live in Michigan; my
electricity provider is DTE) emailed to me. I usually pay the bill
online when I get email that it's ready to be paid. Unfortunately my
emailed bills got tagged as spam for 3 months, and I didn't realize it.
As a result, I didn't pay my electric bill for 3 months. I got a "last
resort" paper bill from DTE (and a disconnection notice!!) last week,

Uk No Credit Check Personal Loan
I phoned up to apply for a personal loan today, not because I want one
but because someone suggested it as a good way to find out if you have
a good or bad credit rating.
I was quoted 6.1% APR at the start of the call, then full details were
taken and after this the advisor came back and said they would offer a

provide them some info about yourself and a copy of a bill or your

I have a problem. I just graduated from college last year, and my
parents put me through school with PLUS loans. I promised that I

Is it fair to pay a fee to process an application for a rental?
what does a credit check cost the manager? should this be refundable if
the applicant is rejected or a credit check is never even done?
thanks for any help in this matter.I can't imagine an up-front fee like this being legal, as it would
probably violate fair-housing statutes and anti-discrimination laws.
If it is legal, I would stay away from any landlord who wanted to do
