i want to know something why do any of you people that have tried suicide taken the precaution of writing a living will saying you refuse to be put on lifesupport should some accident or tradegy befall you

I heard a few storys on this newsgroup of people failing because some idiot intervened so i want to know something why do any of you people that have tried suicide taken the precaution of writing a living will saying you refuse to be put on lifesupport should some accident or tradegy befall you. I think doing this would greatly increase the chance of sucess.

A. -A suicide attempt is considered a priori evidence of mental incompetence in most jurisdictions. As a result, the living will would not stand. - am not allowed to have a living will due to the fact that i am a minor...also it's pretty easy for your family to have you declared mentally incompetant by a court if you try to kill yourself and are caught before the job is finished...
