Credit scoring, improving?
Q. I was wondering about ways of improving my credit score. I have had a look at my file and can't see anything bad in it, however I see details of other folks in the house, does disassociating make a real difference? also does applying for credit card like capital one really improve your credit scoring based on timely payments or is it just hype. a comment; why is their a need for such a system when non legit folk get credit easier? they seem to know how to play the whole thing better than normal hard working folk...
A. I've found the following helps: Take out a credit card. Use it regularly, but never spending more than you can afford to pay at the end of the month. On occasion, when you have enough cash in hand, spend up to the limit, which will get it increased. Pay up in full every month. Repeat for 40 years.
