Q. i couldn't find the original thread. My newsserver is playing sick mind games with me. I recently heard something about declaring bankruptcy in the states. The new administration is considering changing it so that if you have credit card debts they will not be removed after declaring bankrp. (can you say "soft money") So, for the gentleman who was being backed into a financial corner by this effing ms. . . . well, if I were you. . . .I'd start to get things going now.

A. So this is what conservative Republicans mean when they talk about "family values", huh? Do you really mean to tell me that nearly 50% of the votes in the last federal election went to this asshole? I knew he'd win, but I honestly thought it would have been because of Nader's (negligible as it turned out) influence on the liberal vote... not because I thought there were really that many idiots going to the polls. Despite the indirection this time, I've correctly predicted - months in advance - the outcome of every US federal election since Jimmy Carter first got to office back when I was a kid. Like shooting fish in a barrel, it's not something to be particularly proud of... kneejerk politics at its simplest. Just ask yourself what's the proudest-but-dumbest choice on the ballot, and put the "X" there. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if the clown (and I *do* mean buffoon) doesn't survive his term. (Well, OK... it *would* surprise me. Angry, divorced-and-custodial moms with large credit card debts and larger guns will have a real hard time getting anywhere near him, if the Secret Sevice boys wanna keep their jobs
