Siemens Phone System ?

Q. I recently acquired a Siemens Hicom 110 phone system. Problem is I have no manual or software to work out how to use it. I was hoping someone here could point me in the right direction - especially for a manual.

A. Has some good info, if you're still looking. I can't quite get the pc running the software to connect to the hicom though, keep getting an error 'error in telephone system'. I've metered out my rs232 programming cable & that seems ok, also tried connecting at different baud rates, also tried re-initialising the system. So i'd appreciate any info too, if anyone has any suggestions. Cheers :) Ok I got it working, if you need any help drop me a mail & I'll try & help if I can. Posted details of getting the thing fired up in uk.telecom ng Have Siemens 2402 base and 4 each 2400 handsets. This is a two line phone system. Need solution on how to hook up my: 2 seperate phone numbers and 2 answering machines Connect your two phone lines into the Siemens as line 1 and 2. Before they connect to the Siemens, connect your answering machines, so that they share the lines with the Siemens. If the Siemens has only a single 2-line plug on it, you need to either wire the 2 lines into a single jack, or purchase an external device that will combine the two lines into one jack. They are readily available from many sources.
