Q. Since the government is unable to supply reserves in northern Ontario with safe drinking water, maybe the reserves should apply for help from UNICEF. That is certainly the sort of thing UNICEF does. And if UNICEF answers the call, it would serve to embarass a government that has a 3 billion dollar "surplus" to give everyone a big tax refund but somehow can't afford safe water for its people. GIVE BACK YOUR CHEQUES! I was giving back mine for debt reduction, but if they can use it to save lives, even better. How can you accept that cheque and spend it when just a few cents buys a chlorine tablet to purify water so the kids don't develop deadly infections?
A. infections? That is touching and everything, but at what point do the natives take some responsiblity for themselves?
