Any experience with Quest for phone service?

Edwards Finance > Phones

Q. Birch Telecom completely screwed up my call notes/answering system (The number dialed is no longer in service), so its time to fire them and hire --- gee, whom?? I mean, I dumped Southwestern Bell because they screwed up last year ... I was happy with Birch, until this incident (and they don't seem to *care* about fixing the problem -- they want me to contact SWB CallNotes myself and set it up with them!). I've heard generally awful things about MCI for local dialing, and AT&T is just The Big Monster and screws its customers. So any experience with Quest for phone service?

A. No, but I highly recommend them if you are a scumbag spammer and need Internet connectivity. Much cheaper than Broadwing, and nearly as unresponsive to abuse reports. I have MCI as my local and LD provider. no complaints here. i had a wiring issue that they fixed immediatly. only downfall was it took about a month to transfer over the # (swbell is SHIT), but other than that, for 15 bux a month, i get everything and thensome, as compared to SWBELL.. Check out TXU -- they do both business and residential phone service. TXU is actually a huge energy company that's been around for 80-some years which is getting into telecom all over the state. There's no cost to switch over, they're 10% less across the board than SWB, and (in my case) a hot sales rep came by to drop off the paperwork. Her name is Stacey Haims, I believe -- look 'em up in the phone book and tell her that I recommended them. uhm, they have 2 identical ISDN plans on there. one gives you unlimited time 24/7, while the other gives you '60' primetime hours, and unlimited off-peak hours. not to mention the plan that offers unlimited usage is CHEAPER than the delux plan.
