Post office problem/complaint phone number?

Q. Does anyone know a phone number where I can call the post office to make a complaint?

A. Go back to the post office and demand to speak to a supervisor. You should never leave if the clerk doesn't know how to handle the situation. Always talk to the supervisor or postmaster or whatever. If you live in a big city with a lot of branches, go to the main office if you have to. I'm not in the US but I understood from posts in this ng that eDC is not supposed to register that the package had been submitted -- that it only noted when you got the DC number and when the package was delivered and any other information that's recorded is an accidental bonus. The "new" USPS software does recognize the eDC barcodes, and they are supposed to be scanned -- the software reads the barcode and compares it to the level of service, and charges (or doesn't) accordingly. No. Either they're not scanning it with some override button on their punchpad since they know it's free, or software not up to date, or ? Oddity is, they USED to scan it and have to punch no charge, but don't think it put the number on receipt then either. Course, whether they scan it or not, doesn't change info on web. Will still say "electronically notified that package will be sent".
