Q. It's been eight months since I've launched my first shareware, a personal finance management software. I had only two sales so far. Truth is, I've stopped on my promotion efforts and will get back to them next week. Could you guys visit my website and tell me if there are major issues I need to fix? http://www.abassis.com/ I plan on publishing some articles about debt reduction, budget, finance management, saving accounts, which could also improve my ranking and search clout on Google. Has anyone had success putting some extra content on a software site? Another question: I developed a suite of utilities for the desktop and internet that I plan on releasing as a shareware. I'm not sure if I should create a new website, or try to promote both on Abassis.com. Maybe rename the company to "Abassis Software" and display both products could improve sales? What is the best strategy for a second product?

A. 1. Your web site is fine, but it needs seo to get your visitors up. 2. I would reduce the 60 day trial to 30 at most. 3. Remove the forum until you have had about 30 or more sales then email those customers and invite them to join and leave a message. A forum with no members does not ivite sales of the product 4. FIX YOUR DOWNLOAD BUTTON - IT DOESN'T WORK"!!!!
