Q. Does anyone have any suggestions for good wiring and PBX training. Is there anything that cover the fundamentals? Are there any websites related to anything like this either?

A. There are a number of Community Collages that now offer both degree and certificate programs in the area you are interested in. Check out the local schools. There are several tech schools specalising in intensive traning of this sort, one is the REN school in Florida. I am an MBA student at MIT and would like any input you may have on the following questions. Your responses will help me conduct strategy research on Lucent Technologies. How long is the lifespan of a typical PBX system? How long is the Lifespan of Lucents Definity PBX? In your opinion is Lucent's service better or worse than competition (nortel siemens etc) What PBX qualities are most important to you? Will your company need IP telephony hardware and applications or any other voice/data convergent products in the next 5-10 years.
