office 2003 trial

Edwards Finance > Phones

Q. I installed Office 2003 Trial on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise. The option of activating the product by phone is greyed out. Why?

A. MS elected to only allow online activation for the trial copies. The information on the Office website that says that telephone activation is supported appears to be incorrect. Does the package for the Trial copy you have say it can be activated by telephone? Is it the 30 day or a longer trial period copy? It is a 120 day version received at a recent Technet. I haven't reviewed paperwork. It would seem your answer makes the most sense. I am awaiting Internet access installation at home, hence the need for phone activation!
