Questions on no contact mobile phone service ?

Edwards Finance > Phones

Q. I was just wondering are there any companies that have no contracts on mobile phone service using the Optus network. So far I have only came across Dingoblue and Digiplus. Between these 2 providers, which company provides more realiable service and better in price?

A. Depends on where you are, one.tel does too. If you are in the area covered by their own network, and it looks like you may be in Sydney, you dont get to use the Optus network. Neither since its the Optus network that provides that 'reliable service' If you mean billing etc, the blue dog is fine if you just want a mobile service. With the dog, that depends on your detail that we dont know. Well, the best no contact mobile phone service I can think of is to simply not get one - then you definitely can't be contacted on it... If a mobile phone company delivers me a phone (ordered via the internet(, and they have undercharged me due to an error on their behalf can they force me to pay extra once I have received it?Or can I keep it as it is and they cant do anything about it as it is their mistake? The bill and invoice has the wrong amount on it. if they quoted you one price then billed you incorrectly they can request the difference you will see a statement e.oe some where on the invoice , it means errors or omissions excluded if they have quoted you the price then billed / invoiced at that price then there is nothing they can do The law of contract has no provision to prevent two parties from contracting at any price they both agree on however ridiculous that may seem to an outsider. For example if you contract to sell your Rolls Royce to someone for £1, you both agree on and intend to contract at that price and that £1 is paid then the contract is binding. However, it does have provision to remedy a mistake. If there is a an official price list for your mobile phone, or previous sales to others at a normal price but you got yours at the wrong price due to a computer error or human error on the part of some minion looking at the wrong price list then the contract can be rescinded due to unilateral mistake. The contract was not completed before the mistake was noticed, and the companies concerned just refused to conclude them on the basis that the mistake had been made. In this case, the contract has been concluded, and rather than just refusing to complete and refunding any payment taken, the company would have to sue him for the difference. hey would almost certainly lose.
