Software (hardware?) for switchboard operator

Q. We are a medium sized company planning to replace our telephony infrastructure and to use VoIP technology. But we want to keep the workplaces for the switchboard operators as they are today. That means we will not use IVR and ACD firstly and we don't want a huge callcenter solution. We want to have 4 or 5 operators receiving and forwarding calls. We are evaluating the Cisco VoIP solution, but we miss the "switchboard" part. The WebAttendant functionality is not good enough.

With its digital phones and integrated Ethernet networking features, the Instant- Office PBX is poised to make a strong statement when Ethernet phones are commonplace. The only thing keeping it out of a tie is the eight- channel limitation on VoIP calls and scalability.
