I'm curious about a few things.

My understanding is that only 24 of the 42 oil refineries are
operational which is keeping gas prices up.
If the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers could bring back 10 of the 18
downed refineries up and operational, that would have an impact on
lowering Gas prices.
It is very clear the oil companies have no intentions or incentives
of repairing those refineries themselves.-Two reasons:

no matter what the dictionary may say. There is something
unsatisfactory about it.
The widespread use of this term in the UK today owes much
to the 'legal' status accorded the profession under the aegis of
the Engineering Council, the governing body for the UK's 50 plus
engineering institutions. These are in fact the accrediting authorities
for the UK's engineers.

are usually not in demand unless they've also attended medical school.
And if they're talking about biotech/biopharma companies, the last I'd

As I am a bio major, I need to remedize my engineering background.
However, every BME program requires different kinds of prerequisite.

some requires a lot of engineering courses.

if it would be a problem to put in a full chassis in the car even though the

things be off by a little because of the pretty well bent chassis. I don't
feel like it will be a problem, but if any of you have any reasons why you

I know this may seem vain of me, but i seem to have read and heard a lot lately
about how engineers, and specifically civil engineers, do not make a lot of
money. Case in point: Lehigh U. sent me a pamphlet about their starting

least ($40,500 or something near there) while the others were significantly
higher (Mechanical the most at about $49,700).
