Eng Project ManagementEdwards Finance > General Engineering Q. I recently heard of a master's level degree available that was called "Engineering Project Management". Does anyone know if this is true? If so, what Universities offer such a degree, and who is the best? I'm pretty sure that there are degrees in "Project Management", which would fall under business administration, but what about this specialty? A. -University of Alaska offers an masters degree in "Engineering and Science Management" that has a project management focus. It is offered in the Engineering Department and, when I took it (75-76), only overlapped with the business administration department for Business Law. It might be considered an MBA with construction/project management added and stocks and bonds deleted -Several universities offer a Construction Engineering and Project Management curriculum in the Dept of Civil Engineering (Stanford, Texas, Georgia Tech to name a few). ALSO, George Washington University offers a MS in Engineering Management (very good program for the Engineer moving into management).
