Q. I am a recruiter for a premier placement firm looking to fill several senior electrical engineer positions. Does anyone know of senior electrical engineering candidates that meet the following description? Work with top consulting firms in the design field. Three top firms are seeking Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in lighting and power distribution design for insitutional, commercial, industrial and utility projects. Positions available with several firms throughout the West Coast, East Coast and Mid-west. Prefer 10+ years of experience and must be a registered engineer with the ability to gain multiple registrations. Pay is negotiable and commensurate with experience. Job opportunities are direct-hire positions and preference will be given to candidates exhibiting stable work histories. Our fees are 100% paid by the client firms. A. -I know how you feel. In my case, I like my jobs with a "k" in front of the "V". That is when the fun starts. -Lights and plugs. I *hate* doing lights and plugs; that's not engineering, that's picking stuff out of a catalog. - I don't mind working with household AC, but that's as far as it goes for me. I'm afraid of anything that makes noise and doesn't use a speaker.
