help please - design engineer

Q. I have receieved positive skill assessment for electrical and electronics engineering... I worked as a design engineer (electrical) in my previous employment.. will DIMIA have any problem with this as design engineer is not in their list... but, i was design engineer in electrical engineering... should I send additional letter or a affadavit stating that design engineering is related to electrical design.

A. -I doubt that DIMIA will mind if your references show that you're an engineer in an electrical field. If you were an engineering associate or working as an electrical draftsperson it might be a problem. -If I was you I would not get too complicated. You have been assessed on your electrical and electronic qualifications and experience, so I would just call my self either electrical or electronic engineer. Giving the option to confuse anyone is not the way to do it. Keep it simple in everythig you are asked to do.
