A. When you're away from your home or office, the Microsoft Phone System can notify you of important messages on your cell phone, pager or at a remote phone number. You can also easily check messages by dialing from a remote location. No other cordless phone is as computer friendly as the Microsoft Phone System. Microsoft includes a one year warranty with the phone. Even if the Microsoft phone was available for the Mac, I wouldn't buy it-- I don't want Microsoft knowing who I call, or who calls me. :) And what kind of client software ships with their phone, that it needs a minimum of 30MB of HD space AND MSIE installed? The Geoport needs a handful of extensions in the System Folder, and a couple small applications. This "wonderful" new M$ device is another attempt by them to try and enter a market in which they will fail terribly in. Can anyone say Windows CE with me? This phone of theirs has been out for over a two years and this is the second incarnation. It was a flop the first time, now it's revamped and will flop again because there is no demand for that sort of product. If there was don't you think that it would be the next killer app and be all the rage in the tech news? Got news for ya kinds..it aint...period. Try again. And if this miracle phone is as "good" as their software it will be unusable. Can't call tech support when your phone won't boot can ya?
