900Mhz Cordless phoneQ. A friend of mine suggested that I try the net.wisdom in this newsgroup for my little predicament. I'm in the market for a one of the new 900Mhz cordless phones and I haven't had much luck getting any information out of the sales-droids. I have seen two so far. One from Panasonic and one from some never-heard-of-before brand. Both looks and feels solid enough but I have no clue about the transmitting/receiving quality of the both. The Panasonic model is about 150 USD more expencive (~360 USD vs. ~210 USD) so there has to be SOMETHING that sets it apart from the others. If there is anybody out there who's got one, knows more about them and so on, I'd really appreciate any information. I live in the Dallas,TX area (don't let the .se fool you) but if there is any cheap mailorder sources I'd love to find that out about that too. A. The cheaper priced model might be the Vtech Tropez. This is a very good quality phone. They are releasing a new model
