May require an associate's degree in a related area and at least 5 years of experience in the field. Generally, supervises a group of computer operators. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Typically reports to a manager. Computer Operations Manager Plans, directs, and manages the daily operations of a computer operations department. Establishes department policies and procedures.
