A. Internships Web International Co. Ltd. (WEBI) was established in Feb, 1994 under the slogan, " R&D with spirit." WEBI is a leading internet/intranet solution provider and has developed its own intranet solution called Intra Office TM which is the first integrated intranet solution in Korea. WEBI provides a wide range of services related to system integration such as intranet applications in the Web environment. Based on its excellent human resources and technical expertise in the internet/intranet field, WEBI is striving to be a total solution provider in the world of "intranet." WEBI considers continuing college students at bachelor, master and doctoral levels. Potential participants are evaluated on their academic standing, membership in professional organizations, overall career goals, work experience, and leadership potential. Summer internships typically last about two months. These are full-time, paid positions for students, who are expected to return to class upon completion of their internships. Compensation will be decided according to WEBI*s rules. Most available positions are in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and computer science, with a more limited number of openings in other engineering or business areas. We prefer students who can program Java, C, C++, CGI, Lotus Notes and Active X. Internships allow students to be full-fledged members of the WEBI team, with opportunities to apply their ideas to challenging, hands-on projects.
