Is computer engineering right for me?

Q. I am a student attending a local college. I am considering a career in the computer engineering field and was wondering if anyone could give me any feedback (hints, tips) concerning this field.

A. -My best advice to anyone making a career choice is : Do what you LOVE to do, worry about the money later (if ever). Too many people slave away at a job they hate just because they thought it would bring them fortune. -Do like classical music? Are you a musician? Do you like puzzles? Are you good at puzzles? I find that a yes answers to these questions have moderate positive correlation with people who are good at programming. -I think I've observed a moderate negative correlation between musical (and language) abilities and engineering talent. This, as you say, may not be so for programming. "Computer Engineering" is sort of a fuzzy middle ground.
