Our ideal candidate has a solid knowledge of Call Center technologies such as Nortel PBX, IVR, ACD and networking. You also have experience with telecommunication services (Megalink, 1-800, FX, local access, tie lines, etc.). You have excellent interpersonnal skills, written and oral communications and strong analytical skills. You are able to understand the components and architecture of the Meridian 1 PBX system and can make modifications to the system. You have experience within the ACD (Automatic Call Distribution) environment. You have utilized Meridian MAX to perform performance monitoring, adding agents, adding queues and other local call centre activities. You have also worked with Meridian NAC to manage multi-call centre environments. Experience with Network ACD is considered an asset. Rudimentary ability to speak and understand French is also required.Working in conjunction with the Call Centre business manager, you are the technical support specialist for the operations of a large multi-site Call Center environment. Located onsite with the customer, you will act as second-level support for their five large call centres (500 - 600 agents in each) across Canada and will manage the entire operation from a technical perspective performing the duties outlined above. Some travel may be required from to time within Canada. In this role, you will have opportunities to enhance and challenge your Call Centre technical expertise while working with one of Bell Canada's premiere customers in a multi-Call Centre environment linked by an intelligent network. Our ongoing use of leading edge Call Center technologies including IVR, CTI, Meridian MAX and Meridian NAC will allow you to stay abreast of the latest trends in Call Centre management. As the technical specialist, your leadership experience and project management skills will be enhanced.
