Q. What is a good estimate for a starting salary for a cgi artist (modeller/animator) using Maya. I am mostly intersted in the video game design field, but any answers are appreciated. Oh yeah, experience level.... I guess that's important to know... I've just started using Maya, but I've used 3d studio Max for about 4 years (not on an everyday basis tho). I'm trying to decide if I should make a career change...
