Q. I didn't order ANY advertising or listing in the "other" phone book. I went strictly with the "Real" Yellow Pages. The "other" phone book automatically listed me in its Yellow Pages. It will be interesting to see if they list me under the headings of "Resumes" and "Transcription" this next year, since I added them to the "Typing" ad last fall.

A. If you have a business line in your house, does that affect your home phone? If not, I can see why you have a lot of business lines in your area! In New York State, if you have a business phone in your home, your house line becomes message rate, rather than flat rate. (All business lines in NYS are message rate too.) That's one of the main reasons why my "business" phone is back to being a residential line. It really annoys me, because at night my home phone is exactly that, a home phone. But NYS doesn't allow me that liberty and right, if you please.
