I get a letter two days later denying me housing due to all or in part of my credit report. Bankruptcy chapter 7 was discharged, can they deny me housing because of this bankruptcy.

A. If the landlord is not a government agency, it can turn you down because of your bankruptcy -- it is only hurting itself by not taking your rent. If the landlord IS the government, see the attorney who represented you in the bankruptcy immediately -- that IS illegal discrimination .
