Drafting softwareEdwards Finance > CAD Drafting Q. I'm looking for a shareware version of any drafting software. If you know of one that you have used or have heard is pretty good, could you let me know? I know Microsoft is coming out with Visio 2002 but I can 't seem to find a downloadable demo or anything. A. -www.cadopia.com -Try Solid Edge. The CD is free and you get a taste of highend 3D too. www.solid-edge.com -Turbocad still has a freeware version (not a trial, but a free-forever version. Limited features but very usable) Go to www.turbocad.com and use the site map to find it -Try DeltaCad at www.dcad.com -If you are not picky and just want it for a short period of time. Try any of the software at Autodesk. They will send you an AutoCAD trial CD if you request it.
