Q. All this talk about safe LEO free Army Corps of Engineer land. Apparently the people who think this paid as much attention to this as they do to everything else, which is not much. Everyone should google it up. People are worried about some FS LEO's? How about a department that has every resource available within 24 hours to do whatever the fuck they please? If you do bother to go to the Army Corps of Engineers web site click on the link for security. Eventually that leads you to homeland Security. Now, if you went that far, look at the chain of command. Look at the resources that Homeland Security can draw on in a declaired ememgency of any type. It makes the FS look like the Keystone Cops. So, this supposed safe place scares the hell out of me from an enforcment point of view, but then again, it's typical for one of the people advocating that to tell half truths and not do their research fully.

A. -why don't you read the campground regulations of the Army Corps of Engineers? They are pretty much the same as the FS -- Regarding homeland security -- the Army Corps of Engineers responds to disasters and does disaster relief and recovery operations. i.e. they do things like repairing levees, and securing nuclear power plants from blowing up. - the Army Corps of Engineers does support Homeland Security, but it also is the other way around. Homeland Security is the Security for the Army Corps of Engineers. Go to the website and find the Chain of Command and look what the G3 does. It took about 3 hours of reading to get the picture. Essentially the end result was, incase of a declaration, which can be for a few different causes, these are the assets and resources that can be drawn upon. I'll admit getting out from underneath the FS would be pretty cool, however, there is no BLM Land available because of the consensious area. BLM land being the most thrown around idea over the years. But the first time we started hearing about this Army Corps of Engineers stuff, We (the people that are here) researched it and found some scarry stuff.
