2 line cordless 5.8GHz Telephone?Q. Why is it I have not seen one of these on the market yet? Does anyone know of a multi-handset 5.8GHz cordless phone system that can handle at least 2 phone lines? We need this for our home/small business. We currently use the Panasonic KX-TG2000 but we need to move to 5.8GHz to avoid the wireless networking. A. I don't know and have wondered that myself. What we are doing here at SELLCOM is using the TMC ET4000 phones and a couple of their ECA modules to add 2 Motorola 5.8GHz cordless phones to the mix. The cordless can then access any of the 4 lines incoming or outgoing. The ET4000 - it looks like a good system. However, adding up all the components I would need to replace our current system goes way beyond our current budget (and way beyond the original cost of our system). I guess I will keep waiting for Panasonic, Uniden, and others to offer something.
